Here in Bangalore, I live with my wife Purbasha. My parents and younger brother Aniruddha stay in our ancestral house at Lake Town, Calcutta. My grandfather passed away last December at a ripe old age of eighty five.

My father works in a private firm in Calcutta. My mother is a housewife. Their greatest achievements in life must have been bringing up the Double Dennises Double Menaces, though my brother wasn't so mischievous as me when we were at our prime, still it was enough to beat Hank's dudes any day. |

My parents have been the basic source of inspiration in all that I have done and whatever I have achieved in life.

Inspite of being separated from the rest of us by an ocean of time and space, the once most active and lively member of our family, Bhutu, |
the four legged one , lives on in fond remembrances.
Our daughter Shayri was born on 27th August 2003 in Kolkata.
